A Museum Store Without A Museum

Launched in November 2021, HighArt was conceived as Highsnobiety's contributions to the ever-growing world of contemporary art. Whereas other flagships captured the energy of cities, HighArt needed to capture the energy of an industry. To do so, we went to Miami and launched a small pop-up space coinciding with the annual Art Basel. 

On a product level, it was the most ambitious flagship to date. Rather than working with larger brands, the product array predominately consisted of unique items created by or with artists. Participants included Lauri Simmons, Simon Fujiwara, Piet Parra, Nora Turato, Andre Saraiva, Sylvie Fleury, Mira Mikati, Javier Callejer, Roby, and Tobias Spichtig.  

HighArt also came with an extensive editorial roll-out culminating with the release of Highsnobiety's latest magazine, HighArt - with Bad Bunny covering the front page.

The official launch took place at Miami's Design District, and was commemorated by a dinner hosted by A$AP Ferg and Thom Bettridge in partnership with Baccarat.
